I took out the whip I use all the time. it's an black and white ebony handle 7 footer and your nylon whip and put them both on my scale. The nylon came in about 1/2 oz lighter. The handles are the same diameter and about as long. If I didn't know better I would have thought you took the measurements and weight of my favorite whip and made yours to match. it is absolutely perfect for me. I will for sure be using this whip in my shows this summer.

The Standard X Bullwhip has recently been given a facelift. In place of the original 16 plait nylon overlay, the new SXB features a 20 plait polyester (Dacron) overlay. The poly cord enhances the whip's overall characteristics: smoother rollout, more responsiveness, better handling & easier cracking. Read more about the improved SXB on the Noreast Whips Blog.
The SXB features a 10 inch solid steel handle (longer handles on request), a bb-loaded core, 2 plaited bellies, 20 plait poly overlay & nickel-plated concho on the butt end. Whip pictured above is finished with a black latigo fall, but whip can be finished with either a leather or nylon fall.
*A 4 strand flat braided handle strap can be added for an additional $10.
